Customer Receipts:

  • Verify daily receipts against bank statements and post them to the respective Accounts Receivable (AR) accounts.
  • Ensure accurate processing of customer receipts in our ERP system.
  • Payment gateway reconciliation

Customer Account Management/ Debt Collection:

  • Maintain accurate customer account details (contact, info for e-invoicing purpose) and ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide customer statements and reminders in accordance with the company's collection timeline.
  • Prepare and send customer aging to salesperson
  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of overdue amounts.
  • Proactively follow up with customers on overdue payments and escalate overdue accounts to Salesperson appropriately.
  • Conduct regular AR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies or disputes promptly.

Internal Coordination & Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Sales, CS, and Operation to handle billing or payment issues tactfully and professionally.

Credit Risk Assessment

  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial statements and credit history to set or revise credit limits and terms.
  • Review and update customer credit limits and payment terms with management approval.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Reconcile AR ledger with customer statements and bank receipts monthly.
  • Track and resolve customer overpayments, deposits, advance payments, and offsetting transactions.
  • Assist in preparing AR-related schedules for month-end closing and audit purposes.
  • Assist in reviewing commission calculations

Credit Control

  • Enforce company credit policies and coordinate with the Sales team on credit hold or release decisions.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly collection reports and AR summaries for management review.
  • Support the implementation of credit control procedures to minimize bad debts.
