Assist in ensuring adherence to Company-issued directives and regulatory requirements, including legislative compliance (e.g., OSHA 1994, FMA 1967), pest control operations, and tasks necessary for audit compliance (such as food safety, halal certification, etc.). Support compliance with DOSH requirements (e.g., COP, ICOP), including HIRARC, SOPs, JSA, policies, and related procedures. Additionally, participate in any other relevant tasks related to occupational safety and health (OSH) and requirements from government or local authorities, such as street lighting, rescue services, or any activities requiring your involvement.

Job Description

  • Daily inspections/ad-hoc spot-checks/internal audit of factories, company buildings & hostels on S&H matters.
  • Assist with OSH legally required activities such as SHC meetings, DOSH audits, audiometric tests, CHRA, Nadopod, etc.
  • Assist on OSH requirements by DOSH (COP & ICOP) such as SOPs, policies, HIRARC, etc.
  • Assist with Pest Control works i.e. fieldwork monitoring, vetting claim documents & upkeep of pest trap equipment, relevant data acquisition for trend analysis purposes, annual contract vetting & renewal for all factories, buildings & branches/stores nationwide.
  • S&H data acquisition, vetting, compilation, and carrying out trend analysis as required.
  • ERT formation, mock crisis drill & management, and all related equivalent tasks.
  • Assist in tasks required for product certification audits such as Halal, HACCP, ISO22000, and the like.
  • Assist & liaise with the government/local authorities (Bomba, Police, town council, etc) on relevant issue such as street lighting breakdown, utility disruption notification & rectification, landscaping trimming, eradication of poisonous
  • Any other task/instruction issued by the Company that requires your assistance.

Requirement

  • Candidate should possess a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management, or other relevant courses recognized by DOSH.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience in the field.
  • Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with all levels of staff.
  • Well knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
