About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at PZK SDN. BHD. in Cheras Batu 9, Selangor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing structural engineering expertise to support the design and delivery of a range of civil and construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaison with client, co-consultants and authorities.
  • Prepare engineering design, design calculation, technical report, condition of contract, specifications, technical schedule, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates and review engineering drawing.
  • Prepare tender evaluation report.
  • Project management and program monitoring up to completion and handing over to client.
  • Proposing and monitoring defect rectification during defect of liabilities (DLP).
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposal for tender.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the management (whenever required).

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  2. Minimum 10 years of post-graduation experience in structural engineering
  3. Experience in structural and civil engineering design involving mixed commercial development, high rise building and water retaining structures.
  4. Proficient in the use of structural design software and analysis tools (e.g. ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD)
  5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide practical, cost-effective solutions
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  7. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  9. Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) is an advantage.
