  1. About the role

OWH CONSULTING SDN BHD is seeking a talented Civil & Structure Engineer to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis and development of civil and structural engineering projects for our diverse clientele.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting feasibility studies, site inspections and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and execution
  • Preparing and design detailed engineering drawings, calculations and specifications for civil and structural components of projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Coordinate with local authorities for submission stage till CCC stage
  • Overseeing the construction process and monitoring the quality of work to ensure it meets required standards
  • Identifying potential problems and recommending solutions to optimise project outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), as Graduate Engineer is compulsory
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the local consultant firm
  • Familiar with BS8110, BS5950, UBBL and others
  • Proficient in the use of engineering design software such as PROTA, STAADPRO and other structural software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is compulsory
