The Social Media Marketing Intern will assist the marketing team in planning, creating, and managing digital content across various social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music, live events, and online engagement. The intern will gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and digital campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and scheduling daily social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Support the creation of visual and video content for campaigns, event announcements, and artist promotions.
  • Help monitor social media performance and compile analytics reports (engagement, reach, follower growth).
  • Research current trends, hashtags, and viral content relevant to the music and event industry.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build online community presence.
  • Assist during live events by capturing and posting real-time social media updates (stories, reels, behind-the-scenes).
  • Collaborate with the graphic design and production teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital materials.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Familiar with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, Threads).
  • Basic understanding of content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Strong interest in music, live events, and pop culture.
  • Good writing, communication, and storytelling skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Strong sense of current digital and youth culture trends.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
