The Marketing & Sponsorship Intern supports the marketing and partnerships team in promoting concerts, festivals, and live events. This role provides hands-on experience in event marketing, digital campaigns, sponsor management, and on-site activations. You'll assist in developing creative ideas, managing content, liaising with partners, and ensuring smooth event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Support

  • Assist in planning and executing event marketing campaigns across social media, digital ads, and PR channels.
  • Help create and schedule social media content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) to promote upcoming concerts or festivals.
  • Support the development of marketing materials such as posters, banners, and eDMs.
  • Track online engagement, ticket sales updates, and assist with marketing performance reports.
  • Conduct market research on audience demographics, music trends, and competitor events.

Sponsorship & Partnerships Support

  • Assist in preparing sponsorship proposals, pitch decks, and post-event reports.
  • Help identify and research potential sponsors, brand collaborators, and partners.
  • Support the team in managing sponsor deliverables (logo placements, social media mentions, booth activations, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, design, logistics) to ensure sponsor benefits are executed properly.

On-Site Event Support

  • Assist with sponsor booth setups, brand activation areas, and guest list coordination.
  • Support social media coverage during event days (live updates, photos, stories).
  • Provide general event assistance such as registration, hospitality, and backstage coordination.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or related field.
  • Passion for live music, concerts, and event culture.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and branding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, CapCut) are a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during event periods.

Learning Outcomes:

Duration:

3–6 months (depending on academic requirements or project period)

Pay: RM RM1,500.00 per month
