Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Quantity Surveying Intern located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The intern will assist in cost estimation, preparing contract documentation, and supporting the procurement process. Responsibilities also include quantity take-offs, progress claim evaluations, and assisting senior quantity surveyors in managing project budgets. The intern will gain exposure to industry standards and collaborate with project teams to ensure cost control and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Quantity Surveying, including cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budget management
  • Proficiency in contract documentation and procurement principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with relevant software such as MS Excel or Quantity Surveying tools
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic approach to learning and adaptability to new challenges
  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fields
