Job Title: Accounting Executive (AR & AP) – English & German

Department: Finance / Shared Services

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Executive to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within our Shared Services client. The role involves managing invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain supplier records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payables.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.
  • Apply incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile AR accounts and manage any disputes.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare regular AP/AR reports for management.
  • Support month-end closing and audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and suggest improvements to AP/AR workflows.
  • Work with the team to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 1–2 years of experience in AP/AR or similar accounting role, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Good command of English and German (spoken and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
