Job Title: Purchasing Assistant ( Mandarin Speaker )

Location : Taming Jaya, Balakong

Working Experience : Minimum 5 years

Employment Type : Full-time ( 8.15am - 5.45pm, Monday - Friday )

Salary Range : RM2,500 – RM3,500

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support daily purchasing tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, positive, willing to learn, and able to handle ad-hoc duties in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:-

1) Assist in the procurement of materials, supplies, and services in accordance with company policies.

2) Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and shipment details.

3) Monitor and track open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.

4) Maintain accurate purchasing records and update data in the SQL system or internal procurement software.

5) Support supplier evaluation and comparison of quotations.

6) Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics teams.

7) Assist in inventory level monitoring and coordinate replenishment when needed.

Job Requirements:

1) Minimum 5 years of working experience.

2) Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for communication with overseas suppliers.

3) Responsible, self-motivated, organised and willing to learn.

4) Basic computer literacy — proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Email and general office software.

5) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6) Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage
