Head Baker

Magnificent Park Bakery is an artisan bakery celebrated for our signature viennoiseries — croissants, danishes, and modern laminated pastries that combine classic French techniques with local inspiration. We are seeking a passionate Head Baker to lead our bakery and viennoiserie production team, ensuring every pastry that leaves the oven reflects precision, consistency, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full production process of laminated pastries, viennoiseries, and baked goods — from mixing, lamination, proofing, to baking.
• Maintain consistency and quality control across all product lines.
• Develop and refine recipes in collaboration with the management and culinary team.
• Plan production schedules and manage workflow to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Lead, train, and motivate the baking team to uphold high professional standards.
• Ensure proper stock management, portioning, and minimal wastage.
• Work closely with procurement for ingredient quality and cost efficiency.
• Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a pastry or bakery production environment.
• Proven expertise in laminated dough, croissants, danishes, and related viennoiserie.
• Prior leadership experience as a Senior Baker / Pastry Chef / Head Baker.
• Strong understanding of dough science, temperature control, and fermentation.
• Passionate about product innovation and operational excellence.
• Able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM6, RM8,000.00 per month
