About the Role

We are seeking a Front Office Intern to join our dynamic team at COBNB Sdn. Bhd. In this internship role, you will support the Front Office team in ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience from check-in to check-out. This position is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.

Job Description
  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and assist with guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Support the team with guest check-ins and check-outs under supervision.
  • Provide guests with basic information about facilities, nearby attractions, and services.
  • Assist with managing room reservations, including handling bookings, cancellations, and updates.
  • Help conduct routine checks on room conditions and report any cleanliness or maintenance issues.
  • Assist with basic billing inquiries and help resolve minor discrepancies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare simple daily check-in/check-out lists and other guest-related documents.
  • Help identify recurring issues and suggest improvements where needed.
  • Perform basic data entry tasks, such as updating customer records and maintaining databases.
  • Carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving and positive attitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
