What you'll be doing?
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic direction for the EHSF function, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Team Management: Provide mentorship and guidance to the EHSF team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Executive Reporting: Keep senior management informed on facilities operations, compliance status, project progress, and budget performance.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the EHSF department's annual operating and capital budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
  • Project Management: Lead facility expansion, construction, and renovation projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all facilities, infrastructure, and equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Maintenance Programs: Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance operational reliability.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Spearhead efforts to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize the company's environmental footprint.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce corporate EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor departmental expenditures, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising safety or quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety laws and environmental regulations, serving as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor EHS metrics and incident reports, driving initiatives to enhance performance and safety standards.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Degree holders in Mechanical, Electrical, or Safety & Health fields are encouraged to apply. Your educational foundation will provide valuable insights for this multifaceted role.
  • Industry Experience: Candidates with at least 10 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Facilities Management Experience preferably in the electrical and electronic industry, especially in clean room environments.
  • Facility Operations Expertise: Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and plant systems is essential for optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Regulatory Acumen: A solid understanding of EHS regulations and international standards is crucial for ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and project leadership abilities are vital for success in this senior role.
  • Management Style: A proactive, results-driven, and hands-on approach to leadership is highly valued to drive team performance and achieve organizational goals.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and manage international standards and regulations.
