A well‑established global EMS company is recruiting a senior leader to helm its electronics business unit in Penang. This role is ideal for a program/operations leader with strong customer relationship skills and a background in EMS/contract manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the business unit focusing on program delivery, client relationships, operations, and growth
  • Act as the primary interface with customers: manage expectations, escalation, satisfaction
  • Oversee project lifecycle: from customer introduction, NPI handover, ramp, delivery, cost management
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, planning, QA, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution
  • Drive performance (quality, delivery, cost) via metrics, reporting, continuous improvement
  • Coach and grow section heads and managers to deliver on KPIs
  • Participate in strategic initiatives—new customer acquisition, capability expansion, business planning

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics or related field
  • 10+ years in EMS / contract manufacturing, with progressive roles in program or operations
  • 5+ years in leadership / program management roles
  • Strong customer relationship skills: ability to engage, influence, and manage senior clients
  • Good business acumen: P&L, cost control, forecasting
  • Experience in managing project / delivery metrics, cross‑site coordination, escalation handling
  • Communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are critical
  • Familiarity with quality/standards (ISO, IATF) and ERP systems is a plus
