We are seeking a talented QAQC Engineer to join our growing team at PEMBINAAN TEGUH MAJU SDN BHD' in Terengganu. As a QAQC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of the company. What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) plans for construction projects
  • Conducting regular inspections and testing to monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and compliance with specifications
  • Identifying and resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner, collaborating with project teams to find effective solutions
  • Documenting QAQC activities and maintaining detailed records to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Providing technical guidance and training to project staff on QAQC practices and procedures
  • Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of QAQC processes
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in construction quality management

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and quality control procedures
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant quality management standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
