Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Western dishes such as pasta, grilled items, lamb, steak, chicken chop, appetisers, and sauces.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Manage ingredient preparation (mise-en-place), kitchen stock, and ordering of raw materials.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness according to HACCP / MESTI standards.
  • Develop cooking SOPs, recipes, and plating standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen helpers.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Western cuisine.
  • Skilled in grilling, sautéing, pan-frying, sauce preparation, and plating.
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Creative in developing new dishes and managing menus.
  • Hardworking, disciplined, fast learner, and able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work as a team and follow instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
