We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Candidates with an audit firm background are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review full sets of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory requirements including audit, taxation, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
  • Handle cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Review and monitor account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Develop and improve internet control processes, accounting systems, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support management in strategic planning and any ad-hoc financial projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably from an audit firm background.
  • Stong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
