About the role

Mykira Solutions Sdn Bhd, a leading accounting and consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time member of our Financial Accounting & Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their accounting and reporting needs.

What you'll be doing

  1. Managing client management account to ensure accounting timelines are met;
  2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual management account, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
  3. Preparing timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with the Company's accounting policies;
  4. Resolving accounting queries and addressing issues that arise from client portfolios;
  5. Ensure timely and accurate submission of SST returns and other regulatory financial reports;
  6. Continuously identify process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices;
  7. Providing support in the analysis of financial data and the identification of trends and insights;
  8. Manage and handle corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters, including annual tax returns, tax estimates, and tax refund applications;
  9. Handle correspondences and liaise with clients, auditors, regulatory bodies and other relevant parties;
  10. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • Possess at least 
    Degree
    in Accounting/ACCA/CPA/MICPA/CTIM/MIA
  • Positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point
  • Require language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Preferable language: 
    Mandarin,
    to liaise with mandarin stakeholder
  • Able to work independent with minimum supervision
  • Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in handling full sets of accounts (preferably in an accounting firm)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
