The Mechanical & Electrical Engineer supports the planning, design, and coordination of M&E systems to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Reporting to the M&E Manager, this role involves preparing technical reports, reviewing drawings and specifications, and providing on-site technical support to the project team. You'll work closely with contractors, consultants, and other departments to solve issues, ensure compliance with standards, and deliver quality results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and applying engineering skills to real-world construction projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Project Manager in planning, designing, managing and maintaining M&E systems in accordance with company's Quality Management System, safety and sustainability standards.
  • Develop technical reports and rectify technical drawings and specifications on implementation of M&E systems.
  • Provide technical advice and support in regard to project design, construction and modification to construction team and on-site employees.
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants and other related parties involved in the project.
  • Comply with company regulations and ISO requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification: Possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or any relevant fields.

Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in engineering or construction related fields would be added advantages.

3.    Skills & competencies:

a)     Strong administration skills in planning, organizing, analysing and problem- solving skills.

b)     Good communication and time management skills.

c)     Well verse both spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

d)     Computer literacy in Microsoft & familiar with engineering related software – AutoCAD.
