Role Description

We're seeking a Marketing Communications & PR Manager to lead our film's public image. This contract role (hybrid in Greater KL) covers media relations, press materials, comms strategy, and creative storytelling that amplifies impact. You'll shape narratives, manage crises, and keep our message sharp across every platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR and communication strategy
  • Manage media outreach, press events, and statements
  • Lead crisis comms and protect brand reputation
  • Write press releases, media kits, and publicity content
  • Collaborate with creatives for cohesive storytelling
  • Track and report PR performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Media Relations or Communications
  • Strong media network and messaging skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation abilities
  • Crisis management experience
  • Proficient in PR analytics and reporting tools
  • Organized, adaptable, hybrid-ready
  • Degree in PR, Communications, or Marketing
  • Film or entertainment experience is a plus
