Roles: Test Analyst (Manual Tester) AND/OR Technical Test Analyst (e.g. ETL Specialist, Data Migration

Tester, Automation Hybrid Tester, etc., )

Summary of the Role:


• Identifies flaws and uses measures to correct the Software, improving the overall result.


• Test the products and systems after the developmental stage and before they're distributed

to production, ensuring the software is of a high quality and free from errors


• Dig around the Engineering makeup of the Software


• Works closely with the Engineering / Development Team

Resposibilities:


• Perform requirement analysis and develop the Traceability matrix to determine the coverage


• Develop Test Scripts/Test Scenarios based on the signed off requirement for SIT, UAT and/or

Regression


• Technical Validation (e.g. Database level, API Level, Web Services Level, DWH, etc.,)


• Perform test execution and defect management activities


• Coordinate with UAT users/business for test execution/planning as well as feedback


• To highlight any risks or mitigation plan up front to the stakeholders and Test Manager or

Scrum Master


• Attend the daily stand-up calls, or project cadence accordingly


• Produce Daily Status Report and Weekly Status Report (where required)


• Identify opportunities and determine ways to automate testing through usage of scripts, or

automation tools.


• On-going coaching and guidance to the team to improve the testing skills and competency,

as well as cross business functional knowledge

• Test Management


• Independent and Self Manage.


• Good Communication skills


• Good managing upward skills


• Able to provide updates in a timely and prompt fashion


• Familiar with JIRA and Confluence


• Fundamental business knowledge is a plus


• Strong in SQL/Database and UNIX/Linux for Technical Tester
• Possess Development skills is a plus in Java, C++, VB, etc.


• Familiar with ETL is a plus


• Familiar with Data Analytics is a plus


• Familiar with Hadoop / Teradata / Oracle SQL is a plus


• Familiar with SSH is a plus


• Familiar with API/Web Services is a plus


• ISTQB and / or ISEB Certified is a plus
