Job Description

TASK / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES


• Responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure the projects can be delivered within the scope, time, and cost;


• Responsible in analyzing and resolving any issues related to the project to ensure the smooth operation & completion of the project;


• To ensure the project completed safely, within budget, on time and with required quality standard;


• To lead a project team to coordinate, supervise and monitoring all the subcontractors' works and suppliers' material delivery;


• To monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to stay on track;


• To lead a regular site meeting, liaison with Government Authorities, meeting and coordination with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors;


• To plan, execute and review construction program regularly to ensure timely completion;


• Monitor and track the construction progress to ensure the construction budget is closely adhered to;


• Lead the process of issue identification and resolution;


• Develop, review and approve all project management documents;


• To monitor and verify the main contract progress claim and subcontractors' progress claim;


• To manage and coordinate Claim submission, EOT application, raise VO and progress report;


• To verify any technical changes required in variation orders prepared during the implementation of the projects, by preparing a special report attached with variation orders;


• To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required

REQUIREMENT


• Min. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering


• Minimum 10 years related working experience in the related field, water work is more advantage


• Familiar with design and build project


• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia


• Willing to travel to other states according to the project requirements


• Ability to coordinate, monitor and control the work progress and lead the team


• Ability to develop and implement project aspects of the PQP (Project Quality Plan) in order to make sure all deliverables meet the quality expectations


• Experience in liaise with the government authorities


• Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD


• Strong communication skills and leadership qualities


• Sell motivated with problem-solving skills
