Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Support:
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Track orders, confirm receipt, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and supplier communications.
Vendor Management:
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues.
- Update and maintain supplier databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in evaluating vendor performance and maintaining strong relationships.
Inventory & Administrative Duties:
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
Financial & Compliance:
- Verify invoices and process payments in collaboration with the finance team.
- Assist in budget tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to procurement laws, ethical standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma, or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
Experience: 0 ~ 1+ years in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
Required language(s): English and Chinese (communicated with Chinese vendor)
Age: Below 35 years old
Location: Applicants must be willing to work in Sungai Long, Kajang
