Job Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate accounts payable records, including processing invoices, verifying payment approvals, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Handle accounts receivable functions, such as generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data and support accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in financial processes and reporting.
- Support the account management team by providing administrative assistance, preparing client reports, and resolving account-related inquiries or issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to facilitate smooth financial operations and address any concerns.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client accounts and build relationships.
- Familiarity with account management principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of account payable and account receivable processes.
- Knowledge of general ledger functions and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to perform data analysis and identify trends to support decision-making.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to resolve account-related issues efficiently.
- Willingness to work onsite in Johor Bahru.
