Quantitative Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development to support the company's proprietary analytics and automation initiatives
  • Design, build and improve systematic models and analytical frameworks using Python
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and data workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and practical solutions to improve model performance and workflow integration
  • Retrieve and process data from REST APIs and databases (e.g., MySQL)
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for models, processes, and modules
  • Support ongoing operations and respond to ad-hoc analytical or technical requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics / Statistics / Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, including data manipulation, modelling, and workflow automation
  • Understanding of machine learning workflows or MLOps; experience with time series data is a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, scripting, or model development
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creative and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and model accuracy

Preferred Qualifications / Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and Linux commands for workflow automation
  • Experience with Excel and VBA for data review or support tasks
  • Interest or background in macroeconomics and financial market dynamics
