Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and all relevant Malaysian safety and health regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Safety & Health policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead incident/accident investigations and prepare detailed reports with preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate Safety & Health Committee (SHC) meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure timely closure of action items.
  • Plan and conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, emergency drills, and awareness programs for employees.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and submission of DOSH-required reports.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, HR, and all departments to promote a safe work culture.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor safety compliance, including permit-to-work and site safety requirements.
  • Manage emergency response procedures, first aid readiness, and ERT team activities.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce workplace accidents, improve risk mitigation, and enhance overall safety performance.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid DOSH-registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book Holder).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing, construction, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMA, EQA and other relevant local regulations.
  • Experienced in incident investigation, risk assessment (HIRARC), and safety audits.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead safety programs and influence stakeholders.
  • Proactive, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate (MS Office, safety management software is an added advantage).

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
