About the role

We're looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our overall HR strategy and operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing administrative support to the HR team, including managing employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating benefits and leave requests
  2. Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  3. Maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  4. Organising and coordinating employee training and development programs
  5. Serving as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns
  6. Supporting the HR Manager in various projects and initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR coordinator or administrative role
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  4. Proficient in using HR-related software and tools
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate employee records
  6. Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements
