Job Description

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and year-end closing of accounts.
  • Prepare full set accounts including general accounting, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and finalization, and closing of monthly accounts.
  • To be responsible for on-time preparation of monthly balance sheet, Profit & Loss Statement (P&L), and Cash Flow statement.
  • To be responsible for accurate and on-time submission of reports to the Head.
  • To liaise with bankers, auditors, and other regulatory bodies on day-to-day accounting activities.
  • To be responsible for checking and verifying treasury balance.
  • To be in charge of reconciling bank statements and cash books.
  • Perform daily checking of the system's bank balance and bank statement.
  • To verify and process petty cash claims and disbursement of staff.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Accounts and Finance Department for the company.
  • Ensure all accounting records are filed neatly, systematically, and properly labeled for easy retrieval.
  • To be responsible for preparing the Audit schedule.
  • Any ad hoc duties as requested.
