Job Summary:

As a Front of House Staff member at our gym, you will be the first point of contact for members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming, friendly, and safe environment, helping members feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome members and visitors warmly as they enter the gym.
  • Manage membership check-ins, sign-ups, and renewals efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about gym facilities, classes, and services.
  • Handle member concerns or escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and front desk.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, class bookings, and gym tours.
  • Process payments and manage cash/transactions accurately.
  • Enforce gym policies and ensure member compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Support gym staff and trainers with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and restock retail items and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and motivating atmosphere in the gym.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles, preferably in a fitness or health environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with booking and payment systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Passion for health and fitness is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
