Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee daily inventory distribution plans to achieve business goals and maintain optimal Distribution Center (DC) stocking levels.
  • Coordinate the outbound flow of Finished Goods from production and plan their movement to global DCs.
  • Ensure all DCs consistently maintain adequate Days on Hand (DOH) of Finished Goods inventory.
  • Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to replenish DC stocks based on demand forecasts and target levels.
  • Collaborate with DC Managers, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of goods.
  • Identify and resolve distribution challenges, such as bottlenecks, capacity constraints, or potential shortages.
  • Track and analyze distribution lead times, ensuring data accuracy in planning systems through close coordination with the Logistics team.
  • Prepare and review regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly) focusing on key KPIs and inventory trends.
  • Leverage performance data and trend insights to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Work closely with the Distribution Network Superintendent to enhance operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with ERP or planning systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working collaboratively across departments and levels.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of solving problems efficiently under minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willing to travel occasionally; must possess a valid driver's license.

Salary Range: RM 4,000 - 6,000

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
