With over 40 years of experience, we offer an 18,000 sqm stockyard, skilled technicians, and top-notch service facilities. Headquartered in Puchong (HQ) with an HED in USJ and 5 branches nationwide, we are expanding and seeking talented individuals to join our team, offering competitive remuneration and growth opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

As a Procurement Intern, you will assist the team with various tasks across the procurement lifecycle. Your primary duties will include:

  • Assist in researching and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and capability.
  • Support the creation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Sit in on and support contract negotiations to learn how to secure the best value.
  • Collaborate with the warehousing team to help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Help track key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance) and gather data for reports.
  • Conduct basic market analysis to help the team stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
  • Assist in ensuring all purchased goods meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
  • Support the team in addressing and resolving any quality issues with suppliers in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • The complete end-to-end procurement cycle.
  • Fundamentals of supplier evaluation, negotiation support, and relationship management.
  • Practical skills in inventory monitoring, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and maintaining critical procurement documentation.
  • Exposure to strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives that impact the bottom line.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • A proactive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Canva and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work at the HQ located in Puchong (3 mins to One City, USJ)
