Role Description

We are seeking an exceptional, entrepreneurial professional to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a rare opportunity for a self driven individual who thrives on building something of their own - not just motivated by targets, but by creating a legacy and carving a niche unique to you. You will work with some of the most sophisticated UHNW families and institutions in the region, shaping bespoke client solutions and growing your own book of business whilst being guided by an extremely high performing team of like-minded investment professionals.

What You Will Do

  • Originate, acquire and deepen relationships with Ultra High Worth (UHNW) clients, family offices and entrepreneurs
  • Develop and execute your own business development plan, leveraging your network, insight and creativity to build a sustainable franchise
  • Support the investment principal(s) in providing strategic guidance across investments, estate planning and structuring solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of wealth management / asset management / private banking experience dealing with UHNW families and institutions. Demonstrable network and portfolio of client relationships would be highly preferred.
  • Someone who thinks and acts like a business owner - resourceful, resilient and committed to long term value creation.
  • Proven experience in acquiring and managing client relationships and ability to provide tailored investment solutions
  • Knowledge and experience managing and executing investment products. Knowledge of institutional endowment style investments is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the presence and credibility to engage UHNW individuals
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university and or, an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFP, CFA) is advantageous
