Vantage Family Office Pty Ltd is a Melbourne based company seeking a legally experienced Legal Analyst to join our internal legal and compliance team. This is a full time remote role based in Malaysia, ideal for a legally trained professional with strong post qualification experience who is looking for a change of pace from firm life while continuing to do meaningful legal and commercial work.

You will work closely with our executive and legal team in Australia, supporting contract review, compliance coordination, immigration submissions, and corporate governance matters. Your background in contract drafting, regulatory support, and legal research will be key to your success in this role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys autonomy, values accuracy, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a flexible but professional environment.

This is a legally focused in house support role and does not require you to hold or maintain a practising certificate during your employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, internal agreements, and corporate documents
  • Review internal marketing releases and written publications for legal or reputational risk
  • Assist with immigration submissions and compliance documentation for Australian matters
  • Conduct research on international regulatory and legal issues
  • Maintain internal systems for document control and compliance tracking
  • Liaise with clients, external providers, and government agencies professionally
  • Assist with governance and enterprise risk management across the organisation
  • Collaborate with other business units to support legal and risk management across the group

About You

  • Legally qualified in Malaysia, with at least 3 years of post admission experience
  • Skilled in contract drafting and review, with a strong eye for detail
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Able to manage tasks independently and communicate confidently in a remote role
  • Interested in compliance, immigration, and broader commercial matters
