Teleadmin is a Malaysian based company that support the services of a large health care provider in Australia.

This full-time role is an integral part of our medical call centre operations, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
• Assist with patient related appointment booking, answering queries, and other administrative tasks
• Provide general administrative support to the medical team based in Australia as required
• Perform additional tasks within your training and competence, which may include supporting other departments or affiliates.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless patient experience.

What we're looking for

• Good command of the English Language is essential.
• Previous experience in a call center, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact on the phone with patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and empathetic manner
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Working Hours

Days: Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Hours: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm (AEST/AEDT), which corresponds to:

• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm MYT during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm MYT during Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT)

Includes a 30-minute paid lunch break.

Working hours will automatically adjust in Malaysia when Australia switches between standard time and daylight savings.

Overtime may be required occasionally, compensated in accordance with the Employment Act.

Public Holidays (Important)

• Victorian (Australia) public holidays are observed as official days off.
• Malaysian public holidays are recognised for statutory compliance and pay purposes. You may be required to work on Malaysian public holidays unless they coincide with a Victorian public holiday. Work on such days will be compensated in line with the Employment Act or substituted with paid leave.

Position Specifications

• At least SPM/ STPM / A-Level / Pre-U / Diploma / Degree or equivalent in any field.
• Medical/clinic administrative or call centre experience is highly regarded but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant voice with positive phone manners and attentive listening skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently.
