About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Performance Attribution Manager to join our team at RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will lead the Regional Quant and Portfolio Attribution team, driving the formulation of investment style strategies across the Malaysia and Global stock and credit universe. You will play a key role in developing allocation and rating models, engaging with investment teams, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of performance attribution reports.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the Regional Quant and Portfolio Attribution team in analyzing and formulating investment style strategies across Malaysia and Global stock and credit universes

  • Develop asset, country, and sector allocation models using a quantitative analytical approach

  • Design and enhance stock and credit rating models that integrate both fundamental and ESG scores

  • Collaborate closely with CIOs, portfolio managers, and analysts to support stock and credit idea generation

  • Ensure accurate validation of accounting data and rate of return calculations.

  • Oversee the timely preparation and submission of fund performance attribution reports

  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders where input or collaboration is required

  • Uphold compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in quantitative investment analysis, portfolio attribution, or performance measurement

  • Experience working in asset management, investment analytics, or related fields

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel, or similar)

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights clearly

  • Passion for capital markets, investment strategy, and ESG integration

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the asset management industry
