Job Description

  • Manage the entire Pre-Tender process and contract administration for electrical projects.
  • Identifying tender opportunities, assessing feasibility, preparing bid documentation and assisting in contract management to ensure compliance, risk mitigation and successful project execution.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Manage in the assessment and qualification of customer-nominated sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Manage & preparing price analysis reports for sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure bids comply with client specifications, industry standards (BS, IEC, ELEC), and legal/contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers and QS teams to align contracts with execution plans.
  • The point of contact with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers for clarifications during bidding and contract execution.
  • To prepare status report on tender submissions, contract performance and compliance. Monitoring timely submission of Tender deposit, earnest money, performance bond, banker's guarantee, etc. as required for contractual purposes.
  • Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality System.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical tendering, contracts or project administration (MEP, utilities, infrastructure) and engineering management role.
  • Proficient in estimation software and tools (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Ariba, AutoCAD MS Office) and tender platforms
  • Understanding of electrical standards (BS 7671, IEC, NICEIC certification)
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, BOQs and specification
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
