Key Responsibilities:

Lead data migration analysis, define the migration strategy, and create detailed migration plans.

Collaborate with data owners, business teams, architects, and integration leads to understand business and technical requirements.

Assess build efforts and design cost-effective, scalable, and reusable data migration models for regional deployment.

Oversee end-to-end data migration delivery from source to target systems.

Identify risks, manage project scope and schedules, and provide progress updates to stakeholders and project managers.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality through effective data mapping, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and testing strategies.

Work with enterprise architects to align migration design with overall system architecture.

Prepare and execute data migration go-live plans.

Support data engineers by providing technical direction, SQL query insights, and ETL guidance.

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and provide recommendations for decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:

years of IT experience, including proven experience as a Technical Lead or Data Migration Lead.

Hands-on experience with large-scale policy administration system data migrations in the insurance domain.

Strong business knowledge of life insurance operations — including new business, policy servicing, distribution management, claims, and customer management.

Familiarity with insurance data models and key system peripherals connected to policy administration systems.

Experience delivering regional, scalable, and reusable data migration solutions.

Expertise in ETL tools, SQL queries, and data engineering concepts.

Strong understanding of data quality management, validation, and reconciliation frameworks.

Experience with Life Asia System is highly preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
