About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Account Executive to join our team at KEMM ADVISORY in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and Bayan Lepas, Penang. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive bookkeeping and small practice accounting services to our valued clients. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our well-established firm.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and tax returns
  3. Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
  4. Providing advice and support to clients on accounting and tax-related matters
  5. Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and effective client service delivery
  6. Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance the overall quality of our services

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or small practice accounting role
  3. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Million Accounting or Xero
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
  6. A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
  7. A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
