A) JOB SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team to drive innovation and engineering excellence at PUSPAKOM. This role involves active participation in Research and Development (R&D) and Innovation initiatives focused on equipment and facilities. You will contribute to the development, design, and implementation of engineering and technological practices, while identifying and proposing engineering standards aligned with the company's vision, mission, and global recognition.

B) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Innovation & Technology Development
  • Explore, study, and implement advanced technologies to replace manual inspection processes.
  • Develop, design, and implement engineering and technological solutions.
  • Invent practical tools, equipment, or methods to solve operational challenges.
  • Create tools for processing actions and material extraction.
  • Devise, implement, and evaluate plans to solve identified problems.
Research & Compliance
  • Conduct research and innovation activities in compliance with government regulations, ISO standards, company policies, and SOPs.
  • Prepare formal documents that establish standardized technical criteria, methods, processes, and practices.
  • Research and identify reliable sources for engineering standards.
Testing & Analysis
  • Lead and perform data collection, monitoring, and test studies.
  • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive test reports.
  • Ensure all testing documentation and proposals are completed as scheduled.
Project Execution & Monitoring
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Maintain consistency in design reviews and checks.
  • Prepare reports and monitor project performance, progress, and status.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to superiors on project progress.
  • Actively contribute to achieving team milestones and deliverables.
Operational Support
  • Facilitate information flow to support decision-making and customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain an organized filing system.
  • Identify local vendors or contractors for the supply or fabrication of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress and support tender exercises.
  • Assist other departments or sections with inspection equipment when required.
  • Perform any other duties or functions as assigned by the superior.
C) JOB REQUIREMENT
i. Minimum Education
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
ii. Related Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering vocation and industry for degree holders.
  • Fresh graduates with strong personal qualities and R&D knowledge may be considered.
iii. Competencies and Skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of project management and design processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team player with a professional image and discipline.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Result-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Basic understanding of contract management.
iv. Others
  • Willing to travel on short notice and work overtime.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
  • Highly committed to work responsibilities.
