Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Safety Supervisor based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety by implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include conducting safety training sessions, inspecting work environments, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additional duties involve overseeing accident investigations and reporting, as well as collaborating with management to improve safety measures and practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Health & Safety protocols and regulations, and understanding of Occupational Health practices
  • Experience in delivering effective Safety Training to employees and teams
  • Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles to enhance workplace safety
  • Ability to conduct thorough Accident Investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant experience in safety supervision within industrial or construction projects
