BNC Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. is a fast-growing company in the F&B and entertainment industry, managing several reputable restaurant and lifestyle brands. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our finance team, oversee full financial operations, and contribute to the company's strategic growth.


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and internal controls to achieve company objectives and ensure sound financial governance.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Monitor spending, analyze variances, and support management in cost control and performance improvement.

3. Financial Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Review reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Oversee daily cash flow, maintain liquidity, and prepare cash flow projections.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and ensure proper treasury operations.

5. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for annual audits and submissions.
  • Support tax planning, submission preparation, and financial compliance tasks.

6. Accounts Management

  • Oversee the full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, journal entries).
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

7. Cost Control & Operational Support

  • Work closely with operations to monitor costing, food cost, wastage, and inventory variances.
  • Conduct costing analysis and expense control to maintain outlet profitability.
  • Support sales and profit estimation and target vs. actual performance analysis.

8. Ad-hoc Projects

  • Prepare financial analysis and performance reports for management.
  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects as required.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
  4. Proficient in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
