You'll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties and Responsibilities
Inbound & Outbound Operations
- Liaise with regional supply chain team in Hong Kong and forwarders for shipment arrangement.
- Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate for import shipment to optimize the cost
- Work with 3PL on warehouse management and delivering high service levels to ensure that the team delivers results in line with Customer agreed KPI in accordance with the procedures
- Support Logistics & Transportation operational budgets, monitor operational and freight spend KPIs, and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines
2. Demand & Supply Planning
- Work with Sales team and Product Team to generate monthly rolling sales forecast and plan replenishment accordingly
- Lead processes with commercial team to lower down excessive and obsolete inventory in order to optimize the cashflow
- Perform all purchasing activities such as PO issuance, follow-up & correspondence
3. Others
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product and finance to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Implement and maintain robust systems and procedures for order processing, inventory tracking, and logistics management.
- Analyze current inventory and procedures, identify areas for improvement strategy to enhance supply chain efficiency and maximize profitability
- Any other ad-hoc task assigned as needed.
The Skills You'll Bring with You
· Degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
· Minimum 7-8 years of working experience in handling end-to-end supply chain activities with at least 3-4 years being in a managerial role.
· Knowledge in local customs clearance & shipping terms.
· Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Able to travel within and outside Malaysia as and when is required by the business.
