Position Summary:

The Account Executive (GL) will be responsible for maintaining general ledger entries and reconciling financial statements. The Account Executive (GL) will also be responsible for ensuring that the ledger data is accurate and precise.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for each assigned General Ledger Account.

· Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliation on prepayments, deposits, accruals, bank and other GL balances.

· Prepare P&L accounts and trend analysis.

· Maintain accounting records including data entry of complete and accurate data for day to day business transactions.

· Support in an accurate and timely way the monthly, quarterly, and year-end-financial closing.

· Prepare accounting documents and monthly schedules.

· Prepare reconciliations such as bank, debtor/creditor and inter/related companies reconciliations.

· Responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of operations in the general ledger, fixed asset and intercompany accounts, as well as treasury transactions and bank reconciliations.

· Undertake / participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

· To adhere and enforce all Company's policies and procedures.

· Assist the Financial Controller in preparation on other ad-hoc work as required.

ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

· Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificates, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy banking or equivalent.

· At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision yet capable and comfortable to work in team environment.

· Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

· Required software skills: Microsoft Excel and Word. Working experience of Opera PMS, Oracle MICROS Simphony POS and Xero Accounting is an advantage.
