Main responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and maintaining geospatial data, including digitizing, mapping, and updating plantation boundaries and infrastructure. To support data integration with various systems, ensure accuracy of spatial information, and provide digital maps for operational and management decision-making. Also assist in analyzing geospatial data to support smart plantation initiatives.

Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduates from Bachelor or Diploma of Geomatics Science/GIS or related fields
  • Knowledge of data conversion and GIS digitization
  • Knowledge in GIS, maping or BIM
  • Experience with open source language such as Phyton, Java, Scala, Spark and etc
  • Excellence communication
  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
  • Up to date knowledge
  • Good time management
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Working experience of 2-3 years is an added advantage
  • MALAYSIAN ONLY

List of Responsibilities:

  • Analysing spatial data through the use of mapping software
  • Able to do data digitizing and handle GIS process using various solution such as MAPINFO, ARGCIS or others
  • Discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data
  • Design digital maps with geographic data and other sources
  • Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data
  • Converting physical maps in format tiff into a digital form.
  • Creating and cleaning data sources, transform and mine data
  • Build data visualization in dashboard application to display report

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2, RM4,500.00 per month
