We are looking for a
hands-on Site Project Manager
to support the
design, implementation, and maintenance
of fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects. The role involves working closely with project managers, field teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure
timely, high-quality delivery
of engineering solutions that meet technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.

What You Will Do

1. Technical Implementation & Support

  • Execute on-site installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables (ISP/OSP).
  • Prepare and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and as-built records.
  • Assist in network planning, site surveys, and feasibility assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry standards, telco guidelines, and safety procedures.

2. Project Execution

  • Provide engineering and technical support during project rollout, including troubleshooting and site coordination.
  • Work closely with project coordinators, supervisors, and contractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Monitor workmanship quality and escalate any issues to the Project Manager as needed.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct OTDR, power meter, and other fiber optic testing to validate network performance.
  • Verify materials and workmanship against client and project specifications.
  • Document test results and prepare detailed technical reports.

4. Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with internal teams (Project Management, Operations, and NOC) to resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to align on project deliverables.
  • Provide technical input during project planning and design reviews.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend engineering solutions to improve network reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest telecom technologies, standards, and tools.

What You Should Have

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in telecommunications industry
  • Hands-on experience in fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with industry standards and telco regulations.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or GIS tools for fiber design is an advantage.
