Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Kulim, Kedah

Reports To: Plant Manager

Position Overview

Our client is a Malaysian pharmaceutical manufacturer — the country's first dedicated dialysis solution plant — specializing in large-volume sterile dialysis solutions for renal care. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and regulatory standards while maintaining efficient inventory management and safe handling of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations (GMP, GDP, ISO standards).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols for handling sensitive and hazardous materials.
  • Liaise with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational needs.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on SOPs, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP compliance and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
