Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Teacher based in Petaling Jaya. The role entails designing and implementing individualized education plans for children with developmental needs, specializing in fostering their learning through play and structured teaching techniques. The teacher will facilitate the development of communication, motor, and academic skills to prepare children for mainstream education. Responsibilities include working closely with parents, contributing to the development of educational materials, and tracking students' progress to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in working with Special Education and disabilities.
  • Proficiency and passion for teaching, with a focus on middle school-level learners and younger children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Formal training or certifications in Special Education or related disciplines are highly desirable.
  • A degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
