Job Summary

Junior Executive, Bengkel Inovasi GLC (BIG) to support our corporate innovation programmes. This role combines strategic research, operational excellence, and digital capabilities. Managing programme documentation, conducting market research, automating workflows, maintaining our digital presence, and developing data-driven reports. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and eager to gain hands-on experience in programme management within Malaysia's innovation ecosystem.

Job Description

Programme Document Management

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive programme documentation, including agreements, reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Develop and manage document repositories with proper version control and filing systems
  • Prepare stakeholder materials such as briefing decks, programme updates, and committee papers
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and submission deadlines across multiple workstreams
  • Ensure documentation compliance with audit and governance requirements

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research on innovation trends, emerging technologies, financing models, and industry best practices
  • Identify and profile potential corporate partners, solution providers, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and benchmark similar programmes regionally and globally
  • Prepare research summaries, insights reports, and strategic recommendations
  • Monitor policy developments and ecosystem changes affecting corporate innovation

Process Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual workflows and repetitive administrative tasks
  • Design and implement automation solutions using tools such as Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar platforms
  • Create templates, macros, and standardized processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop automated reporting systems and notification workflows
  • Document automation processes and train team members on new systems

Website Management & Development

  • Maintain and update programme website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Coordinate with developers or use website builders (WordPress, Wix, Webflow) for site improvements
  • Optimize user experience through content organization and navigation enhancements
  • Track website analytics and prepare performance reports
  • Manage application forms, landing pages, and digital engagement tools

Data Reporting & Benchmarking

  • Collect, analyze, and visualize programme data using Excel, Google Sheets, or data analytics tools
  • Develop dashboard reports tracking key performance indicators and programme metrics
  • Conduct benchmarking analyses comparing performance against industry standards and peer programmes
  • Create data-driven presentations for stakeholder reviews and decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting materials
