Work Location:

Primary Duties:

  1. Perform detailed failure analysis on semiconductor devices to support root cause investigations, including electrical, visual, and physical inspection.
  2. Conduct reliability testing and monitor test progress in accordance with standards.
  3. Support data collection and preparation of technical reports for failure analysis and reliability evaluations.
  4. Ensure timely execution of FA/Reliability requests from Engineering, Quality, and Customer Teams.
  5. Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on FA and reliability lab equipment.
  6. Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisor/engineer relevant to failure analysis or reliability operations.

Secondary Duties:

  1. Assist Failure Analysis or Reliability Engineers in validation and verification of quality and reliability issues.
  2. Support sample preparation and documentation for customer returns (RMA), reliability qualification lots, and engineering builds.

Other Responsibilities:

Employees must adhere to all relevant information security policies, practices, and procedures to ensure responsible handling and protection of the organization's intellectual property and data.

Job Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Education:
    Diploma in Electronic Engineering or other related engineering background
  • Languages:
    Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Experience:
    At least 1-2 years of experience in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment,
    preferably in failure analysis, reliability, or quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Hands-on experience with FA tools (e.g., SEM, X-ray, curve tracer, microscope) and reliability chambers
  • Familiarity with ESD, Latch-up, and moisture sensitivity testing
  • Basic knowledge of 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and JEDEC test standards
