Company Description

The Malaysia Green Building Council (malaysiaGBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and advancing green building practices across Malaysia. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team to support the planning and execution of events, seminars, and training programs for building professionals and green practitioners, as well as coordinating and engaging with government agencies, sustainability organizations, and industry associations.

Role Description

* Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of events, seminars, workshops, and training programs.

* Liaise with speakers, participants, partners, and government or industry stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of all programs.

* Prepare event materials, manage logistics, and coordinate on-site arrangements.

* Support marketing and communication efforts related to training and events.

* Maintain accurate records of program participants and feedback for reporting and improvement.

Requirements:

* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

* Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

* Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).

* Interest or background in sustainability, green building, or environmental initiatives will be an added advantage.
