About the role

FRD PERFORMANCE MOTORSPORT (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting functions for the company. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections and general ledger
  • Responsible for the full set of company accounts.
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Liaising with auditors and providing support for annual audits
  • Supervising and mentoring the accounting team
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior financial role
  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
